I am a 30 something social worker who often finds that many of the people in my life don't really "get" what I do. I also work in a tiny little program, so don't have much chance to mingle with others in social service. My hope is that this group will be an opportunity to meet some like minded souls, support each other, and to have some fun too!

Life was born with a single cell that multiplied and evolved into the all life on earth. That means we are all inner connected with everything living on earth. Imagine that for a second. We are all inner-connected with all other life that has ever been, and will ever be. If you believe in that simple concept then that is blue print and pathway for love and peac …

Participants tend to vary widely in their religious affiliations (and non-affiliations) and the only ground rule of the group is "deep listening" which means we should voice our authentic opinions, but not try to cram them dow …

The purpose of our group is very simple: we discuss and analyze ideas. The word "analyze/analytical" is not a reference to syllogistic, analytical philosophy, but rather stands for those who like to analyze and critique ideas. Its a place for thinkers to connect with other thinkers! The format is also very simple: there is a brief 15 to 30 minute lecture (the shorter the better) followed by a civil conversation. We believe in organic group mingling. Not all thinkers are compatible, as thinkers …
