Program Hope is a direct service/advocacy organization dedicated to effectively serve, empower and protect children and people with disabilities as well as abused, trafficked and/or exploited women, residing primarily in the Bucks County and Northeast Philadelphia areas, while actively working to promote economic and social justice.

United States is not just the capital of the Free world it is also the capital of the Incarcerated world. This seems like a paradox, but unfortunately it is true. The promise of the first would never be truly realized unless the second description can no longer be applied.   This group would involve discussions on the topic of America as a Carceral State and what could be done from a Human Rights perspective to change it. We are a diverse group of conscious thinkers, readers of multicultural literature and/or writers with a purpose. In the Literary Tea Room events, we will come together to sit back, relax and unwind with a cup of herbal tea (sometimes food) and chat about books, writing, and using  the literary arts as a tool for social change and justice. We will have functions in various venues throughout Philadelphia to incorporate the "power of place" as a means of stimulating our creative thoughts and ideas. …
